We are actually going through both ceremonies as a sign of mutual respect. Half of our couple is religious, and half is not, so we thought it would be best to represent both situations. In facts, the religious ceremony will not involve any last-minute sacrament.

Double Marriage, Double Happiness!
If you expect our wedding to be a typical Italian wedding you are far from accuracy. Actually, we are getting married twice in a row, which is not usual at all! We are getting married at the town hall and at the church. Normally in Italy a wedding is either religious or civil. In the first case you get married in a church and, after the mess, the priest reads some articles of the civil code concerning the legal rigths and obligations of marriage. In the second case you get married at the town hall and the major or their representative reads the same articles of the civil code.
We are actually going through both ceremonies as a sign of mutual respect. Half of our couple is religious, and half is not, so we thought it would be best to represent both situations. In facts, the religious ceremony will not involve any last-minute sacrament.
