Paola was born near Modena and has always lived there (well, apart when she was in France, Martinique, Albania, Paris, Turkey, Morocco, Hungary, Denmark, Great Britain, French Guyana, Canada...). Lorenzo has lived in Modena for six years and sees it as the city where he works.
Modena has much to offer to visitors and inhabitants.
It is world famous for its food, especially balsamic vinegar and tortellini, but also for its cars: Ferrari (!) and for its singer Luciano Pavarotti. Its cathedral is a part of the Unesco world Heritage, and its centre is cosy and warm with the warm colours of its buildings.

Click here to download a map of Modena. We are getting married in Piazza Grande, at the Palazzo Comunale (number 2 on the map). Then we are going to move to the church, which is only five minutes away, outside the centre. Finally we will move to the restaurant for the reception.
